- Check for misfire , check computer for codes , had code P0 420 For catalyst efficiency , P0 300 For misfire detected , check misfire data in scan tool , found # 8 cylinder misfiring , check and found threads damaged , retap threads , reinstall spark plug , tighten exhaust flange bolts , found rear drive shaft has the wrong straps holding u joint in rear yoke , road test and found torque converter shuttering , check transmission fluid , okay at this time . still has slight exhaust leak on drivers side , may need new manifold
